What can I do with ExpenseCount?

With ExpenseCount, you can manage three types of expenses in your daily life. These are Group, Mess and Personal expenses.

How can I save my groups for future use?

We recommend that you register and log in before creating a group. The registered user can access their groups anytime and anywhere.

How other participants know about the expense?

After a group creation, you can send email to your friends from the 'Share' option of the group tab.

What Should I do if a link does not work?

Make sure that you have the correct URL from email or somewhere else. If you still have the same problem, there is a possiblity that the URL you are trying to access is never exist or it has been deleted by system after four months of inactivity.

Can other people access my ExpenseCount?

Other people can access your ExpenseCount as long as someone knows the group URL.

What is WeXpense, RoomXpense and MyXpense?

WeXpense
During any kind of group activity, it is very common to spend money for others. Later, it might need to split and settle the balance. Because, you might owe someone back, or they might owe you. It is not easy to track all the expenses and calculate balance even you write on a paper or diary manually. Even if you manage to write manually, there is a chance of mistake in calculation. Another problem might be to determine minimum number of transaction among participants for balancing the group expenses.

If you stay in a mess, hostel or sharing apartment with other peoples, there is possibility to prepare meal together. After mess period or a month, it might need to split and settle the balance. Because, you might owe someone back, or they might owe you. It is not easy to track all the group expenses, meals and calculate balance even you write on paper or diary manually. However, if you manage to write manually, there is a chance of mistake in calculation.

How do I check expense modificaiton history?

You can easily track if somebody modify or delete any existing expenses. On the expense tab, check the 'Log' option.

How many participants can use the same ExpenseCount?

System allows maximum 40 participants for an ExpenseCount group.

What is the impact if I delete an ExpenseCount group from my mobile device?

If you delete an ExpenseCount group from your mobile device, it is invisible only in your device. Other participants still can access it.

Can I use ExpenseCount on mobile without having internet connection?

Yes, it is possible to access without having internet connection.
